When I'm out doing photography my main thing is to be comfortable. If I am to be climbing on things or getting down low on the ground for certain effects on my photos I want to make sure I am very comfortable. This outfit was perfect for yesterdays photo project. I was set out to take a set of photos that depicted motion in different ways using my old pentax film camera (yes, I do film photography as well!). 

I opted for my super comfy denim cut-offs with a light silky blouse and a super lightweight blazer because let's be honest...no one wants to sacrifice fashion to be comfortable! :) Last but not least, comfy shoes are a MUST!!! These flat boots are soooooo comfortable!!!

I have been crushing hard on crochet pieces lately and when I saw this beautiful top at Forever 21, I knew instantly that I HAD to have it! There is something about that hand-crafted look that just totally makes me feel girly and beautiful. The possibilities are endless...I wore it here with my Free People maxi dress, over the knee socks, and these lovely Aldo wedges. The beautiful necklace has been sitting in my jewelry closet for a while and it just was the icing on the cake with this outfit...

This weekend was very gloomy and grey but that didn't stop us from heading out and exploring our beautiful surroundings...We took a walk around the Rose Bowl. Apparently there was some sort of event - tons of people and music. It was a great weekend.

New Piece ♥

Today I was surprised with this lovely necklace...sooo sweet!!! I am in love with this new piece. It is perfect for me since I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY!!! It was also so thoughtful to gift it to me today before I head out to a photography job...I am definitely rocking this baby today!

Salmon Blazers...

I'm back!!! Sorry for being MIA for so long...a lot of things have happened lately (some not too good). My brother got into a bad accident right before my birthday which was very sad for me but he is doing better now. On a better note, I headed out on a photoshoot last weekend with our friend Deissy (who took the picture of me on the train above). It was sooo much fun and I cannot wait for our next adventure in a couple weeks!!! I wore my new favorite blazer that I fell in love with as soon as I laid eyes on it...

CZ Falconer 2011 Lookbook!

Happy Friday peeps! 

I am sooooo excited for the new Fall 2011 CZ Falconer collection. It is going to be amazing! Full of furs and other super luxe materials and pieces. I am also so happy to have finished the lookbook. It looks great! I wish I could share more with you guys but you will have to wait...do stay tuned for more as this line will be truly one of a kind!!!

keepin' it real...

Happy Thursday!!!!
Last weekend was a rainy one...and it looks like this coming one will be too. meh! (snooki's voice) lol. I decided to leave you with this photo diary instead of telling you what my week has been like. Nothing too exciting since I have a terrible cough (still). I pretty much have just been trying to stay warm in this cold weather. I have been baking a lot, cookies mostly since we all love cookies, hence the heart shaped cookies. I also squeezed some time in with my girl Molly. We hit up Lil Tokyo for some shooting time...aside from the cold winds and some random perverts here and there, it was a great time...we will be doing it again soon...

This weekend bf took me shopping as an advance gift for V-day and we then hung out at a local park that has become one of our favorite spots. It's so cute and romantic. I wore my new fave dress that I got on super sale at Urban. I love he stripes and the peter pan collar...it is just perfection.

Oh crochet. Who would have thought you'd come back this strong...

Who isn't loving crochet for the upcoming Spring??? I sure am! I came across the white dress above while ebay surfing and it just clicked as a perfect little dress for Coachella. I likethe bohemian vibe of it and the versatility that comes with it. Whether you wear it with a teeny bikini as seen on the model or with a pretty slip underneath...that dress is amaze! AND what about the beautiful bikini on the right??!?! Sooooo soooo pretty! I like the lace-up detail and the feathers...reminds me of a dream catcher. ha! sooo adorable...

"Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements" ♥

I've always been a fan of polka dots especially on delicate and girly materials. I've had this sheer chiffon polka dot top for a while but hardly ever wear it, so I decided to wear it out this weekend while out in Old Town. :)

This weekend was VERY productive. I managed to run all my errands, spend time with family, watch the Super Bowl, and even get a haircut. I have bangs again! (pictures soon) How was everybody's weekend?
