playing catch up...

hello dolls! i hope you all had a great christmas! i have major catch up to do with you all since i have really been feeling under the weather and to top it off i have been SUPER busy at work zzzzzzzzz....

but enough of that let's get on to the catch up game. i haven't been able to snap outfit images because...well to be honest i haven't been inspired while being sick and sniffly...instead i am updating you with images from  my offices' holiday party!! i had loads of fun (although i think i had a little too much to drink hehe)

christmas was all about family for me as it is every year. we had a yummy traditional mexican dinner - pozole, tamales, ponche, pina coladas, etc etc. and we all gathered around the christmas tree to open presents. santa showed up with a huge bag full of gifts for me!!! i got everything i wanted plus more...but that will all be a different post... :) all i will say now is that this friday i will be sitting at the staples center floor watching my lakers take on the sacramento kings!!!! i still cannot believe it!

hi loviesssss! so halloween is tomorrow and we need to all get pumped. today at work we had our annual halloween potluck and costume parade/contest....and guess who won first place for an awesome $350 prize?!?!?!? meeeeeeeee!!!! yes me! OMG i couldn't believe it! this year we were being judged on being original and creative so i put on my thinking hat and decided to ditch my typical disney princess and go for a midget cowboy! lol. as you can see it was well worth it. but not to worry peeps, tonight i will be a genie! i wanted to be princess jazmin from aladdin but ended up buying the material and making it last minute so i got purple material instead. i will be posting those pictures tomorrow for you to check out!

at work everyone got creative. there were soooo sooo many cool costumes that i honestly thought i didn't stand a chance. my fweeennndddd bekah was khloe kardashian (ms. odom!) i thought she did an amazing job. unfortunately she didn't win but i think she should've. in second place came my other co-worker and name twin nancy! she was a dancer or something like that as you can see above. in third came dora and valerie as jason and some other murderer from the movie "it". all in all everyone did a great job and we had so much fun...in the end "cowboy bill" came in victorious and he cannot wait to go shopping this weekend!!!

powerhouse...aahhh jay z <3.

hello lovelies! so i had a SUPER busy day yesterday at work because myboss and everyone else is back from New York so we basically played catch-up all day (exhausting) =(

on a better note, this past weekend was amazing! i went to powerhouse (for those of you who don't know, powerhouse is an annual concert that power 106 fm has, full of cool artists!). this year the headliner was JAY Z!!! i have always been a fan, since i was a little girl, so you can imagine how super excited i was...kid cudi, fm, the new boyz, pitbull, lil john, flo rida, sean paul, and others were also there...surprise guest?!??!?! black eyed peas!!!! two otehr surprises were that my lovely derek fisher and jordan farmar from the Lakers stopped by!!!! awesome stuff!!!

sure we had nosebleed seats because we literally bought the tickets the night before, but we had a blast!!! =( my favorite part was of course jay z and i LOVED how he had a tribute for michael jackson!!!! sooooo beautiful!

LAKERS!

...so i work literally like down the street from the staple center and my co-workers and I walked to the LAKER parade and i was lucky enough to see Kobe ♥ from really close!!! I must say, i felt a little silly when i realized my legs were shaky! lol...i am in LOVE with the Lakers and this was an amazing experience! (p.s. notice the puppet hand on kobe's shirt! it has the 4 rings!!! that is soooo amazingggg!) I LOVE LA!!!!

we love L.A., WE LOVE IT!!!!!!
