beach bum...
HAPPY TUESDAY friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! I headed to the beach this weekend and had tons of fun just walking down the boardwalk and eating junk food :) I finally got to wear my cute little romper too, thanks California for beautiful weather!

quick recap...
This weekend was pretty much bleh. Rest and relaxation. Well, wait...scratch that...Friday the co-workers and I headed over to Yardhouse at LA LIVE for Happy Hour and the Laker game!!! THAT was so much fun!!!
Saturday was pretty much just home time and much needed room clean-up time. Later we headed over to do some shopping (mom and I)...
Today cousins, mom and I headed to the park for some fresh air and finally some sun... but now it's back to work mode and the spring forward is NOT helping but I guess it'll all feel better when we get out of work and the sun is still out...that will be nice!
Saturday outfit: black skirt - h&m, grey tee - h&m, black booties/necklace/bangles - f21,
Sunday outfit: denim shorts and blouse - h&m, leather boots - bakers, belt - DIY, bangle and necklace - f21, sunnies - h&m
p.s. sorry for the blurry photos, my cousin is not necessarily the best photog...one more reason why I miss my bf dealy...hehe

Just one of those denim days...
This last weekend before going back to work was mostly relaxation. I had been on vacation since last thursday friday and had tons of fun all week with my loved ones (see post below) but now it was time to regroup and get in total grind mode :).
Friday I woke up feeling a little under the weather so I stood in bed alll dayyyyy. Then at night we decided to head out to Lucky Strike @ LA Live with our friends and had tons of fun. Saturday we headed out to Glendale for a delicious breakfast @ Frida - SOOOO YUMMMM!!!! We then headed to the central library in downtown LA to grab some books that we have been wanting to get our hands on. We browsed the shelfs for quite a while and took some great pictures of the beautiful garden.
It was gorgeous out so we then went to grab some yogurtland. Later in the night we went to disneyland and just hung out and ate funnel cakes and got on a few rides at california adventure and disneyland. i had sooo much fun...
Today was a mellow day. I had some quality time with my momma. We headed out to Santa Monica with our bikes in tow and rode bikes all the way to venice and ate chili cheese fries...(unfortunately I didn't bring my camera since it was dead so no pictures of that)
Now it's time to get back on work mode and count down til next weekend hehe. How was your weekend?!?!??!?

life's a beach...=
...oh what a weekend... this weekend we hit up malibu for some beach fun. yes, it was freeezzzinnnngggg but oh was it nicee. we got to see dolphins and admire the waves crashing on a cliff...
in other news, we went for some retail theraphy on friday night after a long work week and i bought me the cutest little things...but by far this adorable little romper was my favorite....the fit is amazing and beautiful....i am now waiting anxiously for the proper weather so i can wear it out...i bought other stuff too (denim bf shirt, skirts, and a jacket) but i will show you those later...soon i promise...
i can hardly believe it's already february...yikes, time is flying by. anyway, i hope you all have a great week!

the outfit above was something I threw on this weekend while i was out and about getting into some fun adventures... (today's outfit coming soon) friday i went shopping and we also got to redeem my stack of xmas gift cards, so fun! saturday and sunday we dedicated to fixing up my room/working area... we ate like fat kids and watched movies all weekend as well...
this week has started off on a weird note to say the least, but hey it's life. i hope you all are having a great week!

later that night i headed to dinner with my mom and a few of her friends, it was her friends bday so we headed to this beautiful mexican restaurant called guadalajara grill. it's soooo pretty, they have mariachi, folklorico dancers, and the food is amazing! unfortunately i didn't take my camera with me but OMG it was amazing!
today we headed to disneyland to see the xmas preview since we are annual passholders! hope you all had an amazing sunday!

where the wild things are.
the weather in L.A. has been as crazy as the people who live in it! we had two day of rain and gloom (which i was super psyched about!), and then right back to super unbearable heat...and by heat I mean 100 degree heat! yikes!
but enough with the whinning. despite the crazy i managed to have a GREAT weekend! friday i went to the americana to watch "where the wild things are", and i must say it was a great movie - took me back to first grade when "where the wild things are" and "there's a monster under my bed" were my favorite books to read and re-read. *sigh* the movie made me feel like a kid again and even got me teary eyed a couple times...
saturday, i hit downtown fabric district! this year we decided we would get creative and make our own costumes! we found our fabric, embellishments, accessories, and all...i won't give away our costumes though, you will have to stay tuned to find out! hehe!
we had a GRREEEEEEEAAAAATTTTTTT weekend and i cannot wait for next weekend!
